Mark K. Spencer is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, and is Fellow for Aesthetics and Metaphysics at The Hildebrand Project. He lives in St. Paul with his wife, Susanna, a writer and theologian, and their four children. Together, they enjoy hiking, camping, and reading fine literature. Educated at the Franciscan University of Steubenville and the University at Buffalo, his research is on metaphysics, natural theology, philosophical anthropology, and aesthetics, in the phenomenological, scholastic, Greek, and analytic schools of philosophy. He has published over 50 articles and reviews, and his first book is The Irreducibility of the Human Person: A Catholic Synthesis.
